Who is Your Profits Prophet?

The last few months have been pretty tough for a lot of us, but there are still plenty of people who are starting, growing, and improving their businesses. Whether you’re starting from scratch, working on a side hustle, or hitting the next stage of growth in your current business, staying on track during these turbulent times is more important than ever. Now is the worst time to make any of the most common mistakes entrepreneurs tend to blunder into as it can mean disastrous consequences. One of the best ways to avoid doing that and ensure you are on the right profit-making path is to work with a business coach.

The Importance of a Coach

A good business coach will not only help you learn how to manage the business end of your business, but he or she will also assist you in developing the right entrepreneurial growth mindset. A coach will keep you accountable to your goals and your processes, help you identify and change limiting beliefs or unproductive mindsets, and give you new ideas and strategies for maximizing growth. Of course, not all coaches will be a good fit for you. Choosing the right coach is an individualized process and depends on many factors, but there are some commonalities for what makes a truly effective coach.

What to Look for in a Coach

Experience in financial matters There are plenty of coaches out there who are trained in setting up business plans or creating positive belief systems. While these are important, you also need someone who understand the nuts and bolts of business. If your coach doesn’t have experience with financial matters, you could make a number of costly mistakes that could be avoided. I have years of financial experience, both as an independent advisor and working in finance for a large company. I know what works and what doesn’t, and I can help you put the pieces in place to maximize profits.

Entrepreneurial-minded If your coach works for a large company, they are likely not entrepreneurial-minded. The rules for being successful working for someone else and being successful building your own company are very different. Make sure the coach you choose is experienced not only in working with entrepreneurs, but is also an entrepreneur him or herself. I’ve been working for myself for over a decade and I know how to help others who want to create their own legacy.

Accessibility You should be able to access your coach in some form whenever you need them. This could be through in-person meetings, via Zoom or teleconference, or by having unlimited access to videos and other training materials. Along with making my course available whenever my clients need it, I also have a private online group in which I answer questions and start discussions, host group coaching calls, and can also provide one-on-one coaching.

Growth-oriented Your coach should never advocate safety and comfort over risk. After all, if you wanted security, you would have gone to work for a big company (though even those jobs aren’t looking so secure lately.) Your coach should always be pushing you out of your comfort zone and challenging you to be more than you thought you could be. Being complacent has no place in the world of the entrepreneur, especially if you really want to make your mark and achieve financial independence.

The right coach makes all the difference. If you want to work with a true “Profit Prophet”, I would love to help you turn your business into a money-making machine. Take my course specifically designed for entrepreneurs like you and take your business to the next level.
